While the Trump administration rightly halted exports over national security, the old D.C. playbook offered only two bad options: cripple our own companies with a total ban, or stand by and watch China use our innovation to surpass us. It was a lose-lose scenario that the swamp couldn’t solve.

But that wasn't the end of the story. It took President Donald Trump to cut through the bureaucracy and forge a third option. After a direct meeting with Nvidia's CEO, President Trump brokered the deal himself. He didn't just reopen a market; he demanded a price.

And that is the solution. A masterstroke of economic statecraft that could only come from an 'America First' leader. The solution, secured by President Trump, is simple: American companies can now apply for licenses to sell their AI chips to China, but they must give 15% of all revenue directly to the U.S. government.

Think about the brilliance of that deal. China pays a premium. Our tech companies stay dominant. And the U.S. Treasury collects hundreds of millions of dollars that can fund our own defense and innovation.

It's not just business. It’s national security, funded by our adversary, thanks to a deal only Donald Trump could make.

Also DOL announced the availability of up to $30 million in grants to fund the Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund program, which will provide outcome-based reimbursements to employers for training workers in high-demand and emerging industries, including a specific focus on the shipbuilding industry.

Department of Homeland Security: Virginia Democrat Congressman Don Beyer is criticized by DHS for meeting with criminal illegal alien detainees, including MS-13 and 18th Street gang members, at the Farmville Detention Center.

FBI Director Kash Patel: A Democratic whistleblower reportedly told the FBI that then-Rep. Adam Schiff approved leaking classified information to damage President Donald Trump.

But now, the solution. Those buried FBI reports are finally in the hands of Congress. The whistleblower's secret testimony—detailing the meetings, the motives, and the systematic leaking—is no longer buried.

They used their power to lie and erode public trust. Now, Congress has the evidence. The solution isn't forgiveness. It is exposure, investigation, and accountability for those who believed they were above the law. The lies have been exposed; the demand for justice begins.

There's a letter making the rounds. A threat, really, from California Governor Gavin Newsom. He says if red states don't stop what he calls "rigging maps," he will be "forced to lead an effort to redraw the maps in California."

He claims others are "playing with fire"... "risking the destabilization of democracy."

But let's look at what's really happening. The real problem isn't in Texas or Florida. The problem is the sheer hypocrisy coming from the governor's mansion in Sacramento. Newsom’s threat to perform a mid-decade redistricting isn’t just political bluster; it's a direct violation of the California Constitution.

They’re counting on you not knowing that. They’re hoping you forget that in 2008, the people of California specifically voted to take this power away from politicians and give it to an independent citizens' commission. A commission that is only supposed to act once every ten years, following the U.S. Census.

But now, because the political winds aren't blowing his way, Gavin Newsom wants to blow up that entire system. This isn't about fairness. This is a blatant power grab.

Let’s talk about the real gerrymandering. In California, Republicans make up 40% of the vote, but thanks to years of one-party Democrat rule, they hold only 6% of the state's congressional seats. And now, Newsom wants to slash that even further. He wants to take away another six Republican seats, reducing their representation to a meager 3%.

Why? It’s pure politics. He's running for president and this is his signal to the far-left that he’s fighting President Donald Trump on their behalf. He's lighting a match while screaming about a fire started by someone else. And he’s doing it by conflating his own political ambitions with the law, claiming he's simply responding to Texas.

But they're not getting away with it. While Newsom plays his political games, a real defense of the law is mounting. Gubernatorial Candidate Steve Hilton has already announced that if Newsom moves forward, he will be sued in federal court.

And the law? It's not on Gavin Newsom's side.

Article XXI of the California Constitution is crystal clear. The power belongs to the Citizens' Commission, once a decade. Newsom and his attorney general know it is unconstitutional to seize this power back for the political class.

This isn't a principled stand for democracy. It's a desperate game of legal chicken played by a politician who thinks the will of the people and the state constitution are mere suggestions. It’s a power grab that is destined to fail.
